I finally got a chance to cut into that luscious stack of felt I recently acquired! Mother’s Day really crept up on me this year and I found myself coming up blank with ideas for what the girls could give to their Grandma and Great-Grandma. A quick look at the internets took care of that! I’ve seen these little flowers so many times before, but apparently I needed a reminder from from Family Fun in order for it to click.
I cut various flower shapes from different colored felt sheets and the girls chose which pieces to use and how to arrange them. Great-Grandma got pin-backs on hers while Grandma, who is not exactly a corsage kind of gal, will be receiving flower-embellished headbands. :) The girls had so much fun putting the flowers together and trying on the headbands I’m thinking we may be making some for ourselves in the near future.
So, if you’re in need of something sweet and simple to make with the kiddos this Mother’s Day, go ahead and grab your craft felt and start cutting!
See ya soon!
