Thrifted

I was able to sneak in an afternoon of thrifting last week and thought I’d share a few of the goodies I picked up.

First up is a pair of lederhosen! Yes, LEDERHOSEN! I couldn’t believe it. It was marked at $10, but the shop was having a half off sale for pants and capris. What luck. :) They’re a very soft green leather with metal buckles on the cuffs.

Picked up this pretty little Pyrex bowl at the Salvation Army. The graphics are a little faded, but I really need some more mixing bowls and I still think it’s a pretty little dish.

And finally, I scored these great vintage (looking?) recipe cards in a bit of a Dutch motif. I love them. I despise cooking and I never use recipe cards (hello Allrecipes), but how could I pass these up? There are 25 out of the original 30 cards and they all look perfect.

Not pictured from my little excursion is a plain white Fire King mug and a bundle of fabric and clothing meant for repurposing.
